At Techjoomla, our commitment to the Joomla community is at the heart of everything we do. Being part of this open-source ecosystem unites us, creating opportunities to connect with like-minded people who share our goals. On February 22, 2025, we hosted Joomla Pizza Bugs and Fun events at our Pune and Solapur offices to fast-track the Joomla 5.3 release. A special thanks to our team members who joined remotely and made this event even more impactful.

At Techjoomla, we have always been committed to contributing to the open source Joomla community. Our co-founders, Parth Lawate and Ashwin Date have been speaking at Joomla events all across the globe. We have been enthusiastically organizing Joomla Pizza Bugs and Fun events for many years. Having a sense of community helps us to bridge a strong bond across all Joomlers. 

Techjoomla is proud to support Joomla Day USA as a Community Sponsor this year! We have attended & sponsored many Joomla events over the years, from Joomla days to World Conferences. With many events going virtual due to COVID-19, we have taken the opportunity to attend even more! Joomla Day USA promises to be an awesome event & the organizers have worked really hard to make it a success.

When we embarked on our Techjoomla journey 11 years ago, one thing we were acutely aware of, was our commitment to contribute to the open source Joomla community. Having a sense of community unites us. It brings out the greater good besides serving as an opportunity to connect us with people who have the same goals as ours. This fosters communities of practice and it is these communities that connect us with opportunities, as well as knowledge distribution and growth. 

JoomlaDay Austria is going to take place from 20 March 2020 to 21 March 2020 in Salzburg at JUFA Hotel Salzburg City. This will be the 4th JoomlaDay Austria and the first JoomlaDay Austria event in Salzburg. The event addresses participants from Germany, Switzerland, South Tyrol, and other neighbouring countries.

Update. The event has been called off on account of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

At Tekdi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. & Techjoomla we have a long tradition of contributing to #opensource and making what we use better. So much so that every developer at Tekdi has a #KPI to make at least one open-source contribution every month! So it's hardly surprising that we do not let up on any opportunity to contribute. On 19th October 2019, the #Joomla community had organized a Global Synchronous event called "Joomla Pizza and bugs".

JoomlaDay Chicago is going to take place on 12th October 2019 at DePaul University in Chicago. If you plan to build your business using Joomla, Joe Sonn will guide you to build a successful Joomla based business.

At Techjoomla we take Open Source very seriously. All our products and solutions are offered on OpenSource licenses. One of the key ways in which we contribute to open source is supporting opensource events. We are proud to be associated with the global Joomla! community and sponsor the global Pizza, bugs & fun event. We are also hosting the Pune edition of the Joomla! Pizza, Bugs and Fun(Joomla! PBF) to help local volunteers contribute to Joomla!.

Techjoomla has been a regular feature at the annual Joomla World Conference. The Joomla World Conference is a key Joomla event that brings together some of the best speakers in the Joomla world. Unfortunately this year the world conference got canceled over Brexit related travel uncertainties.

JoomlaDay Australia will take place from 3 August 2019 to 4 August 2019 in Brisbane, Australia at the State Library of Queensland. The State Library of Queensland is the main reference and research library in the state of Queensland.

Last year we had blogged about the The first Joomla unconference held in the Netherlands at Eindhoven on the 7th and 8th October, 2017. This year, the unconference is back in the Netherlands albeit in a different location. The second Joomla unconference will take place on 24 November, 2018 at the Seats2meet conference center in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
