We are excited to announce the release of the latest update for Shika, the most popular Joomla learning management system. With the new 4.1.1 release, we have enabled Social Sharing for Shika Courses apart from Facebook and Twitter. Besides this, we have added a list view to show the own assessment history for course takers.

Shika 4.1.1 also addresses many bugs reported by our subscribers.

Social Sharing for Shika Courses apart from Facebook and Twitter

With the AddtoAny Sharing option introduced in Shika 4.1.1, social sharing for courses on multiple social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok is now possible. In earlier versions of Shika, social sharing for courses was only limited to Facebook and Twitter.

Added list view to show own assessment history

This is a new feature requested by many of our subscribers. Course takers can now view their own assessment history for exercise, feedback and quiz attempts from the front end.

• Backend: When creating a single lesson (alpha) menu, the "Select Lesson" field displays a null value.
• Frontend: The Assessments menu on the front end displays blank filters.
• Frontend: Lesson status is missing for Vimeo-type lessons.
• Backend: The "Add question" button for quiz-type lessons in the backend is unresponsive.
• Frontend: Errors occur in the Tjreport menu when accessing course reports.
