We're thrilled to announce that JBolo, our popular Joomla chat extension, is now fully compatible with Joomla 5! This means Joomla 5 users can now enjoy all the features and benefits of JBolo with ease.

Besides this, we have also fixed many bugs in this release.

With the release of JBolo version 5.0.0, Joomla users across versions 3, 4, and now 5 can seamlessly add chat functionality on their Joomla websites. The same package file works flawlessly across these Joomla versions, making it easier than ever to manage your chats.

However, it's important to note that while JBolo is now Joomla 5 compatible, some of our other paid Techjoomla extensions like InviteX, Shika, People Suggest, and more are not yet updated for Joomla 5 compatibility.

Therefore, if you're using any of these extensions alongside JBolo, we recommend holding off on updating to the Joomla 5 compatible version of JBolo for now. Make sure to review the release notes thoroughly before making any updates to ensure a smooth transition.
