Pre-requisite courses

Is there the ability to do pre-requisites for courses? So one course requires another as a pre-requisite before you are allowed to enroll for it? We need this functionality so users don't enroll in courses they shouldn't be enrolling in yet without obtaining a passing mark from a pre-requisite.

To clarify not pre-requisites within the same course/lesson plan, but pre-requisites across courses.
