Hello all,
I have been exploring event registration components for Joomla, and JTicketing appears to be one of the best.
One aspect that I am not clear on, and it seems to be common across all open source ticketing modules, is how to approach a large volume of events. For example, if a theatre has 10 plays per year, and each play is on 20 times, would this have to be created as 200 separate events in Jticketing? Ideally there would be a hierarchy of events where certain information cascaded down.
I am exploring other approaches to this, such as using a dedicated calendar/event component to let users browse events, then hand the ticketing path to JTicketing, but i would be very curious to hear if other people have experienced similar issues.
