Jomsocial Group Invites

I'm using Jomsocial 3 with Invitex to create a private, invite-only community. On a Jomsocial Group page and Events page (I'm assuming as I don't use Jomsocial Events) is an option to "Invite Friends". Using that option, I can either invite existing Jomsocial network friends to the group or I also have the option to invite people via email. When you invite people via email, it just sends out the standard jomsocial invitation which takes the recipient to a login page. If they don't have an account, they are then stuck with the message that the site is by invitation only…. when they just received what they think is an invitation from the site.

Is there a way for invitex to integrate with these jomsocial email functions so that a user who receives a group invite can sign up for the network? And I think it is important that invitex does not take over that Invite function completely as most users will be invited from the list of friends already on the network.
