No matter what I do, when a user unchecks the alert for JEvents, it completely removes the alert instead of unpublishing it. This makes it to where the user can no longer subscribe to the JEvents. When you click on the JEvents (jev_latestevents plugin) in the frontend within the Email Preferences and save, it does not save the preferences to turn the alert on. So the issue: either the alert does not get created when you check the box (I assume it is wanting to publish an unpublished alert) or unchecking the box is deleting the alert all together when it should actually only unpublish it. If someone can give me a workaround for this for now, I would be happy to fix it. I can probably dig into the javascript and fix this, I just don't have time right now. There may already be a fix for this but, I haven't found it (and I have dug pretty hard).

I am using:

Joomla 3.4.1
JEvents 3.2.19
J!Mail 2.5.3

The plugins is:
jev_latestevents 1.4 (Only one I found on JEvents website) If there is a newer one, I would be happy to download and install it.

Thanks,

Jay
