Hi,

When a new user registers on my site, I send them a welcome email. Been thinking on how j!mailalerts could be used for that purpose...

here is what I have come up with:
1. create a mail alert with the welcome mail in it
2. select mail frequency: one time (> needs to be created, currently start with 'daily')

so when a new user registers, a j!mailalert table entry is created. in the next cronjob the mail is sent, because 'respect last email date' is checked, the mail will not be sent a second time (unless the user disables and enables the mail alert in the front end settings.

Although there will probably be some extension that will provide the same functionality, I think this will add additional functionality for your framework.

So what do you think? is this an option?
regards,
Ruud.
