Hi there,
While I've limited the categories in the "J!MailAlerts - Latest News" plugin to 3 categories (of 10 or so), they all are available for the user to choose from on the subscription page in the front end.
Additionally, 6 "Uncategorised" categories + a "Root" category are on that list.
I've made the category selection in the plugin in the "Plugin Parameters" as well as in the "Legacy Parameters" and also have checked in the database in the extensions table that the category ID's are recorded correctly in the params field.
This makes for a lousy user experience, not to mention some of the categories I simply don't want the users to be able to subscribe to.
Any ideas on what I could check on? Thx, P
