Q. How to display activities on Jbolo Facebook theme chatbar?
Answer:
JBolo does not include any activities module, it just lets you show 'EasySocial Stream' or 'Community (Jomsocial) - Activity Stream' or 'Community Builder (CB) Activities' module on Facebook style chatbar. You need either Easysocial or JomSocial or CB to show activites on chatbar. If you are using plain joomla, you can not show activities on chat bar.
Follow these steps -
a. Set 'Show activity stream on Facebook sidebar' to 'Yes' in jbolo component options.
b. Publish 'Community - Activity Stream' or 'EasySocial Stream' module on position 'jbolo_activity' (which is a custom position)
c. Publish this module on all pages.
Q. How to configure JBolo to chat from other user's profile?
Answer:
If you are using Jomsocial, follow these steps -
1. Enable plugin 'Community - JBolo Chat Status'.
2. Set plugin parameters
- Enable caching => No
- Core Application => Yes
- Position Sidebar => top
3. Browse to other user's jomsocial profile.
4. You will see button to start chatting with that user.
Q. What does JBolo-Community Builder integration support?
Answer:
- Showing CB avatar in chats.
- JBolo has CB plugin for starting chat with a user from his/her profile
- Supports connected users only chatting
Q. Does JBolo support filtering banned words?
Answer:

- admin can set comma separated list of words to be banned

Q. How to unblock blocked users?
Answer:
Follow these steps-
1. Using Menu-Manager, create a menu for Jbolo 'Chat Settings' and assign it to 'Registered Users'.
The menu link should be - index.php?option=com_jbolo&view=settings&layout=default
2. Then login to site, and click on this menu.
3. You will be shown two tabs - chat settings and blocked users.
From 'Blocked Users' tab you can unblock users.
