We have finally managed to get back on our feet after a server side database outage which caused a lot of data loss. We have managed to recover most of the critical data like commercial extension order & access data. All users who have bought commercial extensions have been successfully restored. The password data has however been lost for a lot of the users. We will be regenerating passwords & emailing them to you within 24 hours. In the meantime you may use the forgot password form to recover your password.
Though we have tried our best to get everything back the way it was, it is likely that a minority users may face some issues. In such a case please add a Support ticket in the General Support category in the Tickets system. In case you cant login, drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Also some of our internal links & links coming in from search engines might give 404 errors.
The commercial extensions, Support system etc are all up & working fine now. Free extensions will be back up by tomorrow.
We are extremely sorry for the inconviniece this has caused. Extensive precautions have been taken to make sure this does not happen again. For one thing we have decided to move to Rochen Host who hosts all the main http://www.joomla.org site.
On the brighter side, we have released the CB Mutual Friends extension & are soon coming with a JomSocial version!
