Shika: Dashboard

The dashboard widgets which gives you a quick overview of the LMS are mentioned below -

Shika provides the user with the option to create free or paid courses. The dashboards for both cases are different. Both of them have been illustrated below:

In case of Free Courses

 When the "Paid Courses" option is disabled, you will see the dashboard shown above. On this dashboard, you can see 5 primary blocks:

  • Courses: This box shows the number of courses available in the system, clicking on “view details” here will redirect you to the“Courses” section
  • Students Enrolled: This box shows the number of students enrolled for the courses, clicking on “view details” here will redirect you to the “Manage Enrollment” section, where you can see a list of all enrolled users
  • Activities: This box shows the graphical representation of the activities performed by the user and details of the sessions
  • Most active students: This box shows the names of users who are enrolled for maximum courses
  • Most popular courses: This box shows courses that have maximum numbers of likes

In case of Paid Courses

 

In cases where the paid courses option is enabled, the number of blocks shown on the dashboard increases significantly. If you see the above screenshot, you will see that in addition to the blocks shown in the Free courses dashboard, we have the following blocks; Enrollments Pending, Paid Courses, Free Courses Orders, Revenue and the Sales graph.

  • Courses: This box shows the number of courses available in the system, clicking on “view details” will redirect you to the “Courses” section
  • Students Enrolled: This box shows the number of students enrolled to the courses, clicking on “view details” will redirect you to the “Manage Enrollment” section, where you can see a list of all enrolled users (published)
  • Enrollments Pending: This box shows the number of students whose enrollments to the courses are in pending status, clicking on “view details” will redirect you to the “Manage Enrollment” section, where you can see a list of students whose enrollments are pending (unpublished)
  • Free Courses: Shows the number of free courses, clicking on “view details” will redirect you to the “Courses” section, where you will see a list of free courses
  • Paid course: Shows the number of paid courses, clicking on “view details” will redirect you to the “Courses” section, where you will see a list of paid courses
  • Orders: Shows the number of orders received for the paid courses, clicking on “view details” will redirect you to the “Orders” section
  • Revenue: Shows the revenue generated from paid courses, clicking on “view details” will redirect you to the “Orders” section, where you can see all completed orders
  • Activities: This box shows the graphical representation of the activities performed by the user and details of the sessions
  • Sales dashboard: This box shows the graphical representation of sales made in a certain time period
  • Most active students: This box shows the names of users who are enrolled for maximum courses
  • Most popular courses: This box shows courses that have maximum numbers of likes
