We use jMail Alerts with Jomsocial 3, currently on Joomla 2.5 but busy upgrading to Joomla.
We also use a dark version of RT Oculus as our template.

We have a menu that links to JMail Alerts so that members can change their alert settings.
However, CSS is being pulled in from media/techjoomla_strapper/css/bootstrap.min.css which forces the background on certain elements to be light grey (#F5F5F5).
Since the ext in the block is white, it becomes virtually invisible.

If we change the color code in bootstrap.min.css we can get the right background colors.
However, i am sure that this is not the right way to do it, as it means that any future upgrades will overwrite the changes. It
I have tried editing the variable.less file, but this makes no difference.

How do we create a template override that will not be lost if we upgrade jMAILAlerts?
