Gradebook - The Gradebook tool would allow instructors to list course assignments and corresponding student scores, and calculate, store, and distribute grade information to students online . Courses can be graded on letter grade, simple letter grade, or pass/fail scales.
Individual gradebook items may also be entered as points or as percentages. These items can be calculated by a simple summation or as a weighted grading scheme.
Instructors can also have grades from assignments automatically go into the Gradebook as well as graded messages from the Forums (i.e. Participation Points).
Gradebook reports would also display a student's total performance record of all courses with their corresponding grades, grade point average and credits earned, etc. and can be emailed, displayed or remitted as Report Cards or Transcript (i.e. College Transcript)
