(NB: Tried to add to my original post but got "Forbidden Access" errors)
We are confident that the CRON job is running reliably. I'm getting regular log files from the virtual host that confirm processing. However, when running as a CRON job, J!mailalerts never picks up on the content.
All users have preferences set to receive daily alerts.
J!MailAlerts' simulation confirms content is waiting to be sent to users.
The CRON log file is attached.
If I invoke the script out of the browser, from the front end link or from the admin control panel it does as expected, ie it picks up the content.
If there is anything I can do further to trouble shoot the problem please let me know. I'll leave J!MailAlerts installed but given the nature of the website and the expectations of its users (a crowd of professionals) I'll need to do something else for the automated newsletter.
