Hello Guys,

We are pleased to announce release of JTIcketing 1.7 alpha. We have introduced some awesome features like Email Reminders and SMS reminders to Attendees, Also now you have different templates for 'Ticket email' and 'PDF attachment for ticket'. Awesome calendar module for 'Native Events'

In this version we have made following changes.

Important note that This is just alpha so Install it on your test site only. Do not intsall it on live site

Install and Set up Guide

1) Install tjfields

2) Install JTicketing

3) Follow this documentation for set up

A) Setting Up Reminders

1) Open yoursite/administrator JTIcketing=>options=>Reminder Configuration=>

Enable Reminders=>Set this to yes and save configuration

Set up cron below

1) Open yoursite/administrator JTIcketing=>Reminders view=>Create new reminder

2) If you want SMS reminders follow below steps
1) Create account for smshorizon
2) Open tjsms -Smshorizon plugin
2) Enter username and API key and publish plugin


2) Create one future event(Note that reminders will send only if order is confirmed)

3) Buy tickets from front end

4) Now run this url in browser

How reminder works?

As mentioned earlier you need to create reminders. Suppose you create remninders for 2 day.
Suppose event is on 8 august 2015 8 AM Then reminder should go on 6 august 2015

B) Setting up Emails
From 1.7 and above We have seperate email per ticket
1) Open yoursite/administrator JTIcketing=>Email Template=>Set up your template and save
2) Open yoursite/administrator JTIcketing=>Ticket Template=>Set up your template and save(This is used as a template for Ticket PDF which is attached to email)
