What does it do ?
The JomSocial Group Activity plugin lets your users Subscribe to activity alerts for any of the Groups that they are members of. This plugin allows the users to decide which of the group activities they want to recieve updates about on a fine grained level.
The User is allowed to chose which groups he wants to get email digests about. He or She can also chose which activities they should be alerted about. The following activities are supported currently.

- Photos
- Videos
- Discussions
- Wall Posts
- Bulletins
- Events

Plugin Configuration
The Admin is allowed to chose which activities to offer in the Digest emails on a global level. Only these activities are available to the users to chose from. The screenshot below shows the Admin level plugin configuration.
Note that the "Select Groups" Param is a dummy one for the admins. Its selection will not affect the frontend.
**Note that this configuration is limited to the current plugin. To actually send alerts, the Plugin Replacement tag must be included inside the J!MailAlerts digest email configuration. You can read more about configuring J!MailAlerts in the J!MailAlerts documentation.
How does it look in the email ?
Here's a cool screenshot of how the alert would look in your Digest email. You can customise this layout as you need using the plugin level templates. More information about customising plugin templates is available in the J!MailAlerts Documentation.
