How to Access ?
Invitex can be either accessed via a menu created by the admin directly to it. If you are using JomSocial version 2.0 or less, then the provided JomSocial plugin will replace the default Invite Friends with Invitex so that it can be accessed from the JomSocial menu as well. In case of plain Joomla or CB, a menu as said above is needed.
In case you are using JomSocial 2.2, you can simply change the menu type in the Joomla Social Toolbar menu to point to Invitex.
Send Invitations
The user has five options using which he can send emails
1 . TechjoomlaAPI plugins : You can use these plugins,to import your contacts from respective site.
2 . Manual : Enter email ids of people you want to send out Invitations to . Multiple emails ids should be comma separated.
3 . Other Email Services : You can import contacts from your address book of supported email providers.
4 . Social Networks :You can import contacts from your address book of supported social network providers.
5 . Other tools : For now In Other tools ,you can upload CSV file with name and e-mail id in it.
6. Invite By URL: You can Invite anyone to your site by simply sharing a referral link.
After any of the above four steps you will receive a list , where you can select or de-select people , write a message for the invitees and send the invitations. You can also see the preview of how the sent email/message will look like.
Re send Invites
This will show you the invitations sent by you that have not been accepted . You can resend the invitations.
Accepted Invites
This will show you the invitations sent by you and have been accepted by the invitee.The invitee has to login at least once to be added as considered accepted.
Invitation Stats
This will show you the invitations that have been sent by you. It will show whether they have registered or unsubscribed.
