The ellipsis is sometime irrelevant and should be replaced by [read more] link, if required.

The ellipsis is put after every text of the article independently, whether the text has been cut off or the whole content of the article has been displayed. I would prefer that it is replaced by a link reading [read more] text, if required. If the content of the article has been displayed and it hasn't been cut off, then there is no need either of ellipsis or for read-more link. Thank you for listening.
