Email K2 User Groups - Alert the User Group

Hi. Love the email alert component.

My question is this: Is it possible to configure the component to email members of a K2 user group that new content has been uploaded? We use Joomla as an intranet and I'm looking for a way to let the admins know there is newly submitted content needing admin approval (for publishing).
