New Installation Instructions

  • Download the latest version of the JGive from the Techjoomla website.
  • Install the downloaded JGive package using the Joomla Extension installer.

Upgrade Instructions

Note: If you are upgrading from JGive version older than 2.5.3 read the following notes:

  • Take a complete backup of your site using tools like 'Akeeba Backup' before installing or upgrading.
  • Please, take a backup of any changes that you have made to JGive code/language files
  • Install latest JGive version on your site.
  • Once you have installed the latest JGive version, browse to the JGive control panel from site backend and click on “Fix Database”. This will migrate your email templates.
