We are excited to announce the new release for Shika, the most popular Joomla learning management system. Shika 4.1.3 is here with in-app web notification for EasySocial for courses. We have also added configuration to auto enroll for specific courses in Shika. Also, with this release, auto enrolled users can launch the lesson from hyperlink in course enrollment message.

In-app web notification for EasySocial
With Shika 4.1.3, we have introduced the in-app web notification for EasySocial for course enrollment, course completion etc. Please note that you will need to enable the web notifications in the notification templates in the backend.
Course auto enrollment for specific courses
In earlier versions of Shika, it was not possible to enable auto enrollment for specific courses in Shika. With this release, it is now possible to auto enroll users for specific courses in Shika. Users are automatically enrolled to the course when they launch any lesson from the course.
Launch lesson from hyperlink in course enrollment message for auto enrolled users
For users that are auto enrolled to the Shika courses, we have now added a hyperlink in the course enrollment message so that they can directly launch the lesson from the message itself.
