I'm new to Joomla and would like to create an Api to update Joomla DB from a different app. com_api may be a solution but docs and guides are nowhere to be found. Could someone point to some, or possibly provide an example? I found a description of what an Api Url path could look like, but didn't see any for Api's to Modules, only Plugins. Does com_api work with Modules as well? Also is there a common way of securing the endpoints such as Api key or Api secret?
