J!MailAlerts with Joomla 1.6 support is out !

J!MailAlerts ver 2.3 is now available with Joomla 1.6 Support !

The extension is free from download in the free extension area. All the plugins are also updated to support Joomla 1.6. Note that though all the plugins have been updated to 1.6, all extensions that we support might not be ready yet to work with 1.6.

This is a common package release & the installables for both the component & the plugin should work well with both Joomla 1.5 & 1.6 . Note that from this release onwards, the main component & user plugin are available as a quick install package.

The commercial plugins & JomSocial plugin pack for JMA can be downloaded by users with active support subscriptions. If you need help setting it up, you can opt to buy a support subscription.  By the way, we presented J!MailAlerts at the Joomla Day in KL, Malaysia. Working in Joomla since the times when it was called Mambo, Parth is passionate about everything opensource. A Mechanical Engineer by profession, Parth was working with content management systems like PHP nuke while doing some voluntary work for non profits when he stumbled upon Joomla & was completely hooked 

Parth has been involved in the Joomla project as part of the Joomla Bug Squad, was a mentor for Joomla at Google Summer of code & plays a key role in managing Joomla User Group Pune & organising Joomla Day India. Currently, he is serving on the Joomla Marketing working group leadership as the Strategic Marketing Manager. 

When not in the office, you will find Parth in the mountains hiking or cycling, reading a book , cooking or gardening ..
