Techjoomla Launches Android & IOS Apps for J And Beyond 2012

jab 2012 120 x 240Its that time of the year again ! The Greatest Joomla conference on this planet, J And Beyond 2012 will be held from 18th to 20th May at Bad Nauheim in Germany.

This year again our Directors Ashwin Date & Parth Lawate will be attending the conference. Stay tuned as we plan to unveil our latest project at the conference !  If you are going, dont forget to say Hi to them !  --- Assuming they make it to the conference as they have Air India tickets & the Pilots are still on Strike :(

We are still hoping they will be able to make it blsthough !

J And Beyond 2012 Smart Phone Apps By Techjoomla

As a small contribution towards this Great conference, Techjoomla has launched a Event Browsing & Schedule Planner App for J & Beyond 2012. Its already available for Android & is awaiting approval on the IPhone App Store.

The App come with the following features :

  • Browse the Event Schedule by Day
  • Scheduling App : Bookmark talsk you wish to attend & compile a "My Schedule"
  • Browse information About the Talks
  • Browse information about the Speakers
  • Social : VIew Tweets with the hashtag #jab2012
  • Check the Location Map & other information

Working in Joomla since the times when it was called Mambo, Parth is passionate about everything opensource. A Mechanical Engineer by profession, Parth was working with content management systems like PHP nuke while doing some voluntary work for non profits when he stumbled upon Joomla & was completely hooked 

Parth has been involved in the Joomla project as part of the Joomla Bug Squad, was a mentor for Joomla at Google Summer of code & plays a key role in managing Joomla User Group Pune & organising Joomla Day India. Currently, he is serving on the Joomla Marketing working group leadership as the Strategic Marketing Manager. 

When not in the office, you will find Parth in the mountains hiking or cycling, reading a book , cooking or gardening ..
