With JGive 1.0, JomSocial is no longer a necessary item. You can use it with plain Joomla, Community Builder, JomSocial - as you want. We are still giving an awesome integration with JomSocial with Activity stream updates & a Profile display plugin which means we have lost none of the old jomGive features while adding a lot more!
