We have been talking about adding sound notifications to JBolo for some time now. In fact , the feature has been there in one of our SVN branches for some time .. but as it wasnt made cross browser compatible yet, we hadn't released it..

Image our surprise today when we got an email from Casey Davis, one of our JBolo users, who went ahead & integrated Sound into it & even offered us to code to integrate into the Code Base !

We have started testing this & will be integrating it into the main code base if we find no issues with cross browser compatibility & as a special thanks to Casey, we shall be giving him a 6 Month extension on his Subscription !

This is even more exciting as we might be going towards a new model in the way Open Source works !

We cant wait to show you the new J!PHPList extension..

Finally!

J!PHPlist is ready to go production. We have been working hard on the development of this extension & we hope you shall be happy with the results. The demos are now live for all of you to see. We shall be releasing the extension as soon as the Documentation has been updated.

J! PHPlist our 'CB PHPlist' extension in a whole new Avatar is soon to be released !

We are very excited about this release with a host of bugs fixed & a lot of new features added.Its in the last stages of final testing & is already being used in our website in 'Joomla Integration' mode.

Here's a snapshot of whats inside this complete rewrite of the base extension.

• Native Joomla Support without the need for CB /JomSocial.
• CB Support with a lot of bug fixes & improvements from CB PHPlist.
• JomSocial Support.
• Batch Sync feature now allows you to do a first sync for large Joomla sites without a timeout.
• Double Opt in support in all integration modes as well as the first sync.
• Auto Template override for Joomla Integration mode.
• 'Suggest' Params support to detect PHPlist settings
• Allows you to configure PHPlist Batch mail settings from within Joomla
• Attribute matching for configuring PHPlist attributes with CB or JomSocial depending on the sync mode.

We have some very exciting things planned for this extension ! Watch this space for more on this..
