J!MailAlerts 2.0 is a major architectural change which brings with it the ability for each user of your site to configure his Alerts ! So now your users can configure each J!MailAlerts plugin to his or her liking.

Eg : A User A can configure the Latest News plugin to send him alerts from Section 2 & 4

While a User C can configure it to send him Alerts from Sections 1 & 3

Each plugin can be configured this way.

Another cool change we have is adding Emorgifier for pre processing of emails before we send them out . This allows you to use normal CSS files while styling any plugin or template . Emorgifier converts it to inline css based on the classes you give.

The Major change which gives you great flexibility is the plugin architecture which now has a view for each plugin which means you can override it or change it easily. Which means that now you have full control on how your email looks !
