Creating new Tags
Now that the groundwork is done, lets get on to create come cool looking tags. Click on Manage Tags to see a list of existing tags. If this is the first time you have installed Title Tags, this list will be empty. In case you are re-installing or upgrading, you will see a list of tags you have previously created.
On this page click on the New icon to create a new tag. You will be presented with the following screen -
The tags that you can create are of 2 types -
Text Tags: In this type, you can choose a word like HOT or NEW or FEATURED and use CSS to make it look however you want.
Image Tags: In case of image tags, you have to upload an image which is directly shown as the tag. Note that no resizing/scaling takes place, and the image is shown as it is. So it is expected that you, as a user should upload an image of the correct size. Generally an image of height about 12 – 15px and width of 25 – 40px will look good for normal font size of article titles.
The following screenshot shows a sample text tag being created -

The following fields need to be filled -
Tag name: This is a identifiable name for the tag. It will not be displayed anywhere on the frontend. Published: Select to publish or unpublish this tag. Type of Tag: This is selected to text right now. Tag text: This is the text that will be shown on the frontend, in front of the article titles. CSS Code: Put the CSS code that will 'beautify' your tag text. Generally colors & bold font looks nice.
