hey, I installed your tool on my page. thanks for this great tool I'm just having one problem. On the Masterpage i can't add any sites. It always shows me following error message when i try to save my page.
Could Not Generate XML File. Please try again

If the component needs to create some file, the file persmission might be the solution. but i don't know if it is suppose to create any.

Edit: The file permission is set correct, is does not cause the issue!

No Support since a month now!

I solved it.

I realized that the sites that were giving trouble were those who had the SH404SEF.

Put XML URL in your browser that will automatically be converted. Take the url and insert the resulting com_updatz.

turning off sh404sef inserting the url to com_updatz while it's turned of, worked. Later on i turned sh404sef back on.

But still, it is pretty complicated to do that. Besides, it will delete every SEF URL which was created earlier.

I also found an Error in install.version.php in row 37

query = "INSERT INTO `jos_version` (`id`, `secret`, `xmlurl`) VALUES

it should be
query = "INSERT INTO `#__version` (`id`, `secret`, `xmlurl`) VALUES

otherwise it will give an install error on pages where the prefix is different as jos_
